This session combined a couple I love and one of my favorite locations: Travel Town Train Museum in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.  And we had beautiful sunset light.  What is not to love about this session?  It might be one of my all time favorite engagement sessions. Rita and Booth were such an awesome couple:

They were so at peace and relaxed with each other.  It makes me feel relaxed when a couple has this vibe.

I was so excited to meet up with one of my favorite families for the maternity and newborn pictures for Shawn and Alisha’s second baby: Brielle.  You can see our past sessions, HERE, HERE and HERE.

For this session, we met in Old Town Pasadena for maternity pictures with their son, Braylen.  City Hall is a great place for pictures.  I always love the light here.

Then I got to go to their home in Valencia when little Brielle was born to capture her newborn pictures. Braylen sure loved her.

I don’t get to photograph many families with older or adult children, so it was fun to get some portraits of this fun family and their adorable dogs.

Their backyard was a photographers dream with cool cars, beautiful light and interesting backgrounds.

Mom and dad were so sweet together.

They had fun and laughed together.

And of course, they are both gorgeous.

Here is one of my favorite families.  I have several shoots to share with them.  But here is our first family session at Lacy Park in San Marino.  It was a beautiful day.

Griffin loved to run and run.  He was happiest walking on his own or being swung between mom and dad.

After a quick outfit change, we headed to the playground for some more pictures.

Griffin paused in his playing long enough to read a book – a classic:  The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

I am so far far behind on posting photo shoots.  There is no way I could ever post them all at this point, so I am just going to share a few of my favorites and try to get a little more current.  Like maybe stuff that happened in the past year – haha.

So you may remember Greg and Anna’s engagement session at Balboa Pier.  Their wedding was equally spectacular – it’s definitely one of my favorites.  So without further ado, here is the gorgeous Anna getting ready.

Anna and Greg were married at Saint Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Altadena.  It is a beautiful church, inside and out.

I love the giddiness and joy on Anna’s face.  She truly is excited to get married.

Married! I think they had the best exit I’ve ever seen.  They were so happy, they danced down the aisle. :)

We were able to take a few portraits at Caltech before their reception.

Anna and Greg had their reception at Caltech’s Athenaeum.  One of the prettiest reception locations I have ever been to.  It’s so open and spacious, yet classic at the same time.

I just had to include one from their toasts.  Their reactions were priceless.

I hardly ever include end of the night dancing shots, but I couldn’t resist with Anna and Greg.  They had the best moves and expressions I have ever seen!

This is one of my favorite dancing shots of all time.  The joy on Anna’s face is contagious.
