I loved the flower girls.  They were so excited all day.

After everyone was ready, we headed to Oneonta Congregational Church for their wedding ceremony.

I can’t believe it, but in fact, he’s actually 7 months old now.  It’s taken me a month to post his 6 month old baby pictures.  Yikes! He really is growing up too fast, especially because we have been so stressed the past 2 months.  My husband has been having some significant health problems, requiring 3 surgeries, which has really put our lives on hold.  It has made me examine my priorities and put a lot of things in perspective, like how precious our lives here on earth are.  I definitely have my moments of being completely overwhelmed and not coping very well, but when I calm down and focus on what’s important, I just want to hug my boys tight and savor each moment we have together.

So here is baby Asher.  At 6 months, he is sitting up…

and crawling all over the place.  :)

I love his yummy little fingers and toes.

The best feeling in the world, comes from seeing these 3 sweet brothers together.  Levi (2) is so loving, he is full of hugs and kisses for Asher.  Elijah (4) dotes on Asher, wanting to make sure he is happy all the time.  And Asher always wants to be near his brothers.  He crawls after them and tries to get their toys, but he definitely wants his space too.  I just love this sequence.  It shows all their personalities.

I love you baby Asher.  I am so happy you are in our family.  You brighten my day with your cute smiles and laughs.

The 3 “big” kids were so helpful and well-behaved.  I think they have a thing or two to teach my 3 boys.

I was so happy to come to their home and meet baby James when he was just a few days old.

He was awake and alert for a lot of the session, but after a quick nurse and cuddle, he fell asleep for a few sleeping newborn shots.

He’s already found his thumb!

And they wanted a picture with their cat.  James was done, but at least their kitty obliged.  Such a beautiful cat.

Kyrie and Austen were married at the Newport Beach LDS Temple, which is such a beautiful temple to be sealed in!  As we wait outside the temple for the couple to exit, the grounds are always such a peaceful and spiritual place.  We captured this image while waiting for Kyrie and Austen.

After we took some portraits at the temple, we drove to Ventura where their reception was.  We had a few last minutes of light (read: a VERY few minutes – it was already twilight), so we took a few shots at the beach.

Kyrie and Austen’s reception was held at the Four Points by Sheridan in Ventura.  I loved that the addition of the Christmas decor.

Yes, I made their little capes and they love playing superman almost everyday (at least the big boys do).

Here is a sample of the mini sessions I did last year.  These were all done at Recreation Park in Monrovia (which is where I will be offering the morning sessions on 10/29).

This is the first year I will be offering mini sessions at Eaton Canyon in Pasadena.  This location is so different than Recreation park in Monrovia, I wanted to show you an example from a recent shoot at Eaton Canyon.  This is my friend, Candice, and her family, which I just shot last week for her maternity pictures.  I love the light!
