I was so excited when my friends, Crystal and Dave asked me to photograph them and their family for their 10 year anniversary.  We decided on Old Town Pasadena at the City Hall Building.  I love the light and architecture there. It’s one of my favorite places to photograph.

Crystal had this cute idea to make a sign saying “10 years later…” It turned out so cute with her family pictures.

I love the light in Pasadena’s City Hall.  It is beautiful every time I go there.

I had one of the best photo sessions at Lacy Park in San Marino with these cute twins.  We got to run and jump and play together, while getting some pretty cool photographs of their family.

Baby Harvest was the sweetest little girl to photograph!  I love her sweet smiles and giggles here at home with mom and dad.  They sure are lucky to have such a happy baby.

Tim and Monique were in town visiting Claremont Colleges for business reasons, and contacted me up to take some pictures at their alma mater where they met.  Fortunately, Monique was also very pregnant with her second baby and we were able to capture some pictures of her pregnancy as well as family pictures.  First, we started out at the dorm where they lived and met.

I’m glad we got some maternity pictures of Monique on her own.  She is just lovely.  After the session, Monique told me that she has this picture enlarged above her baby’s crib so she’ll always be watching over her.  So sweet! I love hearing how our pictures get used and displayed after our session. It makes me happy!

Having fun at the end of the session.  We had a blast together! I wish you lived closer so we could hang out. During the session, we realized that we are both mormon / LDS (which means we both attend The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints).  How fun is that?!

I loved meeting these three sisters at Manhattan beach in Southern California for a sisters photo shoot.  They were so sweet and fun loving – it was one of my favorite sessions of all time.  I felt like I was one of the Zurcher sisters just hanging out with them.  See I even got them to skip down the pier.  That’s dedication!

They are all so beautiful!

But one of my favorite things about this session is that the Zurcher sisters wanted to honor their too early departed sister and include her memory in the photo session.  Their oldest sister passed away when she was in her teens and is a deeply felt loss for these girls, so they decided to memorialize her presence with a bouquet of sunflowers (which were her favorite). They wanted to prominently include this remembrance in their photographs.

After the session we went and grabbed some ice cream.  What a fun session.  Thanks for letting me a part of your family for a few hours. :)
