Baby Harvest was the sweetest little girl to photograph!  I love her sweet smiles and giggles here at home with mom and dad.  They sure are lucky to have such a happy baby.

Our baby girl, Nora, is one year old today!  I can’t believe my baby is growing up so fast.  She is a mellow, giggly, happy girl almost all of the time, and she is one of my earliest talkers. She has already said “mama”, “dada”, “more”, “owie” and “hello”. Nora has also just started walking about 4-5 steps at a time. We love this little girl! She melts all our hearts, especially her 3 big brothers.

In honor of her first birthday, my friend Brittany with Briar Photography helped me style a first birthday photography session and cake smash.  We went to Eaton Canyon in Pasadena, which would have been great except they closed the gates at 7pm, so Brittany being an awesome friend, took our cars one at a time and parked them outside the wilderness area and walked back.  That is a true friend! I was so grateful for her saving the day.

Those eyes! We still cannot tell what color they really are.  They sometimes look blue, golden and green.  Maybe she will be a true Hazel.

Isn’t this the cutest little rocking chair?  We borrowed it from a friend, and I’m so glad because she is adorable in it.  Look at that little foot pose!

This cake is adorable!  My friend, Crystal, made this pretty little pink rosette cake and it was almost too cute to smash.  Almost.

Nora was so dainty that she wouldn’t even touch the cake at first.

When she tried it, she wasn’t sure what to think.  She looks pretty quizzical.

But then she decided that she likes cake after all.

I wanted to share this sweet newborn photo session with baby Ryder.  He’s probably two years old now! But they are still adorable, so I think worth sharing.  Here is his cute nursery.

I love my sweet boys.  They are baby Nora’s protectors.  From day one, they have wanted to hold her, hug her and kiss her.  Sometimes too much!  I am glad she will have three big brothers to look after her as she gets older.

This lovely “Don’t Mess with Her” photo has been making it’s rounds on Facebook and Pinterest.  So when I had Nora, there were about 10 people that forwarded it to me saying I should recreate it.  Well, here is our spin on the “Don’t mess with her” picture.  Their “tough” faces crack me up! lol

Nora is the happiest baby.  Anyone who smiles at her gets a big smile and coo in return.

We had some of the best outtakes!  I just had to share a few.  I may love this series more than the main “We’ll Protect Her!” photo alone.  I wouldn’t mess with them if I were you.  They mean business.  :)

Here is our sweet baby Nora.  Now that she is 3 months old we can see her personality emerge.  She loves people!  Even if she is tired or hungry, when someone smiles at her, she gets a big grin and kicks her legs with excitement.  She is so mellow and easy going.  She sits on her own for long periods of time, content to watch all the chaos of our family.

Nora holds her head up really well for 3 months old.  She likes to either be held in a standing position or on her belly so she can exercise her muscles.  And is it just me, or do I see a hint of red in that hair?  We keep wondering what color hair she will end up with.  Selfishly, I hope she gets my hair. :)

I made this outfit and blanket for her.  Can you tell I love yellow and grey?  They are do pretty on her.
